MOVEMENT will be the central pillar of your plan. The lionshare of your coaching time will be progresisng through your phased skills and exercise plan. Importantly, you will have dedicated sessions to develop skills in the other 5 pillars to support your evolution.



Build your foundations
Think about building a house – the first step is building strong, stable foundations.Â
This takes time and often you cannot see much ovbvious progress. But beneath the ground a LOT is happening . Your body is the same. Skipping these early phases will hinder your long term progress and lead to problems down the line.
5 steps to success
You will have regular MOTs to understand how your body is changing. These will provide up to date data to use to shape your progression. To keep you moving forward.
You will build proficiency at each level before you progress to the next stage.

A unique approach to movement
Your MOVEMENT programs will remove compensated, unhelpful movement habits you have accumuated over time.. These are responsible for speeding up wear & tear in your body.
Then you will install efficient, pain preventing patterns, so you move efficently with minimal wear & tear all day everyday.
In step 1 & 2, you won’t use external weights or do “traditional” exercises, that comes a little later. For good reason. If the way to get the best result was to start with weight training, that is what we would do. But for most people there is work to do before that.
I often say, “trust the process”. Taking a short break from weight training here, will be priceless. Propelling you forward further and quicker.
Won't yoga class or swimming fix me?
We are often asked this question. Both can help reduce some symptoms, so you feel better temporaily. Until the next flare up.

Hi I'm Julie, I know how it feels to be in pain


I was fit & active, even teaching yoga! I thought I was doing what I neded to be fit and healthy.
But i kept getting injured – regular niggles but then more serious problems, even a bulging lumbar disc.
A painful neck and shoulder injury was the last straw.
I couldn’t carry on that way. I learnt to take back control of my own recovery by making changes to the things causing my problems. My lifestyle. movement mechanics, nutrition, stress and how I was training. And now I love helping others do the same.
